Common use of Retiree Health Care Fund Clause in Contracts

Retiree Health Care Fund. The City of Mt. Pleasant Police Retiree 3 Health Care Fund (the “Fund”) shall be established under the 4 authority of the Public Employee Health Care Fund Investment Act, 5 Public Act 149 of 1999, for the purpose of providing health 6 insurance benefits for the welfare of the Retirees of the City who 7 are eligible to receive a retirement benefit from the City of Mt. 8 Pleasant Police and Fire Retirement System (Act 345). A written 9 Retiree Health Care Plan document shall be prepared after 10 adoption of this Section, which shall contain provisions regarding 11 the establishment of the Fund, benefit eligibility and coverage, 12 contributions to the Fund, investment of Fund Assets and 13 Administration of the Plan and the Fund. The Pension Board of the 14 City of Mt. Pleasant Police and Fire Retirement System shall be 15 designated as the investment fiduciary of the Fund.
