Common use of Retirement Notification Clause in Contracts

Retirement Notification. In order to be eligible for benefits under Section A above, teachers must submit completed retirement forms to the Human Resources Division thirty (30) days prior to the projected retirement date. Advanced notice may not be a requirement in case of medical necessity or disability retirement. Upon death, tenured teachers shall receive this benefit regardless of years of service.
