Common use of Return to Employment Clause in Contracts

Return to Employment. ‌ A teacher so absent shall be entitled to immediate return to actual employment upon appropriate release from Workers' Compensation status. A teacher incurring an on-the-job injury shall be paid their regular rate of pay for the remainder of the work day. Any necessary deductions from accrued sick leave for teachers so injured shall not commence until the first scheduled work day following the injury.
