Review and Approval/Disapproval of Submittals. The Architectural Standards Committee shall review the Construction Submittals and/or Landscape Submittals, as the case may be, in due course. One copy of the Construction Submittals and/or Landscape Submittals, as the case may be, shall be retained in the records of the Committee, and the other copy shall be returned to the Owner marked “Approved,” “Disapproved” or “Approved as Noted.” In the event the Committee marks the Construction Submittals and/or Landscape Submittals, as the case may be, “Approved,” no further approval shall be required with respect thereto, unless, with respect to the Construction Submittals, such construction has not substantially commenced within six months of the approval of such plans and specifications (e.g. clearing and grading, pouring of footers, etc.) or unless such plans and specifications, whether in the Construction Submittals or Landscape Submittals, are materially altered or changed. In the event the Architectural Standards Committee marks the Construction Submittals and/or Landscape Submittals, as the case may be, “Approved as Noted,” no further approval shall be required so long as:

  • Review and Approval Documents specified above must be submitted for review and approval by CITY Purchasing and Contracts prior to the commencement of work by CONTRACTOR. Neither approval by CITY nor failure to disapprove the insurance furnished by CONTRACTOR shall relieve CONTRACTOR of CONTRACTOR’S full responsibility to provide the insurance required by this Contract. Compliance with the insurance requirements of this Contract shall not limit the liability of CONTRACTOR or its sub-contractors, employees or agents to CITY or others, and shall be in addition to and not in lieu of any other remedy available to CITY under this Contract or otherwise. CITY reserves the right to request and review a copy of any required insurance policy or endorsement to assure compliance with these requirements.

  • Review of Submittals A/E and ODR review is only for conformance with the design concept and the information provided in the Contract Documents. Responses to submittals will be in writing. The approval of a separate item does not indicate approval of an assembly in which the item functions. The approval of a submittal does not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for any deviation from the requirements of the Contract unless the Contractor informs the A/E and ODR of such deviation in a clear, conspicuous, and written manner on the submittal transmittal and at the time of submission, and obtains the A/E’s and Owner’s written specific approval of the particular deviation.

  • FAA APPROVAL This Agreement may be subject to approval of the FAA. If the FAA disapproves this Agreement, it will become null and void, and both Parties will bear their own expenses relative to this Agreement, up to the date of disapproval.

  • County Review and Approval of Insurance Requirements The County reserves the right to review and adjust the Required Insurance provisions, conditioned upon County’s determination of changes in risk exposures.

  • State Approval of Replacement Personnel The Engineer may not replace the project manager or key personnel without prior consent of the State. The State must be satisfied that the new project manager or other key personnel is qualified to provide the authorized services. If the State determines that the new project manager or key personnel is not acceptable, the Engineer may not use that person in that capacity and shall replace him or her with one satisfactory to the State within forty-five (45) days.

  • Seller’s Approval Buyer must obtain Seller’s approval, in writing, to any change to the letter described in Section IV(c) regarding the financial institution, type of financing, or allocation of closing costs; and
