Right to Donate. Employees may donate sick leave to come to the aid of another District employee who is suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness, injury, impairment or physical or mental condition which causes or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or terminate his or her employment.

Sick leave sharing shall be in compliance with RCW 41.04.

Employees are granted the right to donate sick leave to come to the aid of another employee who is suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness, injury, impairment or physical or mental condition which causes or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or terminate his/her employment. Such donation shall not be counted against the employee for purposes of sick leave buy-back except as it affects the sixty (60) day minimum accumulation.

If an employee is receiving Xxxxxxx’x Compensation, they are not 13 entitled to receive sick leave sharing.
