Right to Join and Participate. 4.2.1 Employees shall have the right to join or to refrain from joining the Union. Neither the employer nor the Union shall discriminate against or interfere with the rights of employees to become members of the Union and, further, there shall be no discrimination against any employee because of Union membership or non- membership. The Union shall, in its responsibility as exclusive representative of the employees, represent all employees without discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion.
