Common use of Right to Receive Copies and Respond Clause in Contracts

Right to Receive Copies and Respond. An employee shall be provided with a copy of any document concerning the performance of his/her duties or character placed in his/her personnel file, and shall have the right to have placed in such file, his/her statement concerning any such document. This copy shall be given within twenty (20) days either by hand (with an acknowledgement by the employee) or by mail (return receipt must be used in this instance).
