RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES. 11.01 Primary Employee Activity The parties recognize that Employees are primarily involved in research and scholarly activity as per the letter of appointment from the Deputy Xxxxxxx, which shall include the duties and responsibilities of the position. The employee shall perform their duties and responsibilities within the framework of the research program of their Supervisor. Research and scholarly activity conducted within the University shall be directed to the objectives of increasing knowledge and understanding. The freedom to disseminate this knowledge and understanding is described in Article 10: Academic Freedom.
