RIGHTS OF EMPLOYEES TO PARTICIPATION. 12.6.1 No reprisals of any kind shall be taken by either party against any party in interest, any school representative or any other participant in the grievance procedure by reason of such participation. 12.6.2 Any party in interest may be represented at any level of the formal grievance procedure by a person of his/her own choosing except at Level One. If an employee is called as a witness during regular school hours, such employee shall do so without loss of pay. The party calling the witness shall be responsible for the payment of the substitute's salary for the witness, if required. The term "party" shall mean the Washoe County School District or the Washoe Education Association.
