Role of mediator and obligations of parties. The role of a mediator is to assist in negotiating a resolution of the Dispute. A mediator may not make a binding decision on a party to the Dispute except if the party agrees in writing. Unless agreed by the mediator and parties, the mediation must be held within 21 days of the request for mediation in clause 26.3. The parties must attend the mediation and act in good faith to genuinely attempt to resolve the Dispute.
