Common use of Rostering of Shift Work Clause in Contracts

Rostering of Shift Work. (a) For Employees working a straight shift or a broken shift under clause 22.2 or clause 22.3, a roster showing normal starting and finishing times and the name of each Employee will be prepared by the Employer and will be displayed in a place conveniently accessible to the Employees at least seven days before the commencement of the roster period. (b) If an Employee is rostered to work ordinary hours on a Saturday or Sunday, he/she will be paid the appropriate penalty in accordance with clause 23

(ai) For Employees working a straight shift or a broken shift under clause 22.2 clauses 11.12(b) or clause 22.311.12(c), a roster showing normal starting and finishing times and the name of each Employee will be prepared by the Employer and will be displayed provided to Employees in a place conveniently accessible to the Employees writing at least seven days before the commencement of the roster period. (bii) If an Employee is rostered to work ordinary hours on a Saturday or Sunday, he/she will be paid the appropriate penalty in accordance with clause 2311.11
