Common use of Rounding Rule Clause in Contracts

Rounding Rule. Time charged for compensation for time worked shall be subject to rounding to the nearest one-quarter (¼) of an hour. For example, an employee who works less than (8) minutes shall not be compensated. An employee who works eight (8) to fifteen (15) minutes over shall be compensated one-quarter (¼) of an hour.
