Route Bids. All bus routes shall be bid upon by seniority during the first week of August or at a "bid" meeting held no later than five (5) calendar days before the beginning of school. Bid routes shall begin no later than the beginning of the third week of school. The Superintendent or designee reserves the right to require an employee to pick-up or drop-off a bus at a centralized location. Bid routes shall remain in effect for the balance of the school year in which the bids are accepted.
Route Bids. Since frequent changes in drivers have an adverse effect on the students, bidding for routes may occur no more than: 1) At the beginning of the School Year; 2) At the beginning of the Extended School Year.
