Bid Routes. In multiple center buildings, when a driver must be transferred from one (1) center to another center within the building, it must be a driver without a bid area. However, the company, in an emergency, may ask a bid route driver to take another route. The company and the Union will cooperate to effectuate the efficient delivery of pack- ages.

Bid Routes. When a regular driver is absent the assigned sub driver will have the option of performing all aspects of that route with the exception of the noon route. (shuttle/after school program).
Bid Routes. The Company in an emergency may ask a bid route driver to take another route. The Company and the Union will cooperate to effect efficient delivery of packages.
Bid Routes. All routes shall be bid. There shall be a minimum of two (2) training delivery routes and a maximum of ten percent (10%) training delivery routes in each package center. A minimum of one and a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of the training routes shall remain unbid. The purpose of the training routes is to train probationary package car drivers and temporary cover drivers. The training delivery routes shall be designated by the Employer and listed as such on the center bid list. Should there be a need to change these training delivery routes the Employer will notify the Local Union. Package car drivers not holding a bid route will cover for vacations, options, personal holidays, sick days, and other absences of the regular bid drivers, or to cover overflow work. No single training route will be used back to back for multiple thirty (30) day qualification periods. Package car drivers who do not hold a bid route will have the opportunity to bid any route(s) that will be vacant for the entire following week. The vacant routes will be posted on Tuesday and completed by Thursday. If a bid driver returns to work mid-week, they will be placed on their route at their next scheduled start time. If a package car driver is pulled from their bid route to cover another route, a package car driver would be entitled to a two
Bid Routes. The Employer shall designate a minimum of 85% of the total routes as bid routes in all centers. These bids shall be posted in plain view for all employees to see. All Bid drivers will be afforded, upon request, a printed copy of a description of the deliv- ery and pick-up area as listed on the Bid. The respective Local Union shall receive a copy of all signed bids including a list of all designated training routes. The successful bidder shall remain on that bid for a one (1) year period, unless a new job, higher classifi- cation, or permanent vacancy occurs during the interim bid year. Any driver who does not elect to take or hold a bid will work as assigned in their respective center. The Employer will designate not more than 40% of all routes as routes which will only take an A.M. break after Service commitments before 10:30 A.M. are met. Bids that are not filled during the annual bid must be filled by the least senior full-time delivery driver. Full-time bid package car drivers cannot be forced from their bid route more than five (5) days per year. Forced shall not include a mutual agreement, emergencies and those reasons listed in Article 51, Section 9.4. If an employee is forced from their bid area more than five (5) times the employee may be subject to receive one (1) hours pay at his overtime rate for each additional occurrence above five (5). The employee will be required to notify the company after the third occurrence in griev- ance format in order to qualify for this payment.

  • Bookings By making a booking the Guest offers to conclude an Accommodation Contract. In the case of appropriate availability of the booked room the Guest receives from Motel One a booking confirmation. Upon acceptance of the booking made by the Guest an Accommodation Contract is created between Motel One and the Guest. Motel One’s offers in relation to available rooms are non-binding and subject to change. Motel One can at its own discretion refuse the conclusion of an Accommodation Contact. There is no right to receive overnight accommodation in a particular room. Motel One retains the right to impose restrictions standard within the industry, such as minimum stays, booking guarantees or deposit payments for certain dates.
