ROUTING RULES. Next Gen 9-1-1 Routing processes all inbound emergency calls and successfully presents the emergency calls to the PSAP in accordance with the routing rules determined with CENTURYLINK and provisioned during the implementation stage. Next Gen 9-1-1 Routing allows for specialized management of wireline, wireless, and VoIP call types so that different call types may have the ability to have separate routing policies for originating delivery, transfer, fail over, choking, etc. For example, SMS is routed differently based on a PSAPs selection of delivery method (i3, browser, TTY). Call types are determined based on the incoming call source facility (e.g. MSC, End office), as well as the information provided within call signaling. Next Gen 9-1-1 Routing will support flexible routing instruction rules, depending on CENTURYLINK- established preferences and needs. To this end, CENTURYLINK will provision the following based upon CENTURYLINK’s requirements for the PSAP:  Each incoming End Office connection (IP or TDM) is identified for the appropriate routing treatment. The current routing treatments are identified below: o Selective Routing: Routing rules are based upon the calling party ANI. Routing is determined based upon the ANI match to an ESN (Emergency Services Number) and an Electronic Switching System Identification (“ESSID”).

  • Federal Unbundling Rules Any lawful requirement to provide access to unbundled Network Elements or Combinations of unbundled Network Elements that is imposed upon Verizon by the FCC pursuant to both 47 U.S.C. § 251(c)(3) and 47 C.F.R. Part 51. Any reference in this Agreement to "Federal Unbundling Rules" shall not include an unbundling requirement if the unbundling requirement does not exist under both 47 U.S.C. § 251(c)(3) and 47 C.F.R. Part 51.

  • Operating Rules 6.1 Merchant must comply with the Operating Rules, as the same may be amended from time to time. The Operating Rules may change with little or no advance notice to Merchant and Merchant will be bound by all such changes. If Merchant objects to any change in the Operating Rules, it must immediately stop accepting new Transactions for Cards governed by the change. The Operating Rules will govern in the event that there is any inconsistency between the Merchant Agreement and the Operating Rules. However, nothing in the Merchant Agreement shall be construed to impose on Merchant a requirement (including a requirement under the Operating Rules) which is prohibited by mandatory provisions of applicable law (i.e., where the applicability of such provisions of law to the Merchant Agreement, and of the law’s prohibition to the particular requirement which otherwise would be imposed on Merchant hereunder, cannot lawfully be waived by agreement), but the requirement hereunder shall be construed to continue in effect and to be imposed on Merchant in all respects and at all times to the fullest extent possible without violating the law’s prohibition, with only those particular applications of the requirement which would violate the law’s prohibition deemed severed from the provisions hereof.

If there is any inconsistency between the terms hereof and the Rules, the terms and procedures set forth herein shall control. Any party who fails or refuses to submit to arbitration following a demand by any other party shall bear all costs and expenses incurred by such other party in compelling arbitration of any dispute. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to be a waiver by any party that is a bank of the protections afforded to it under 12 U.S.C. §91 or any similar applicable state law.

  • Switching and Tagging Rules Each Party shall provide the other Parties a copy of its switching and tagging rules that are applicable to the other Parties’ activities. Such switching and tagging rules shall be developed on a non-discriminatory basis. The Parties shall comply with applicable switching and tagging rules, as amended from time to time, in obtaining clearances for work or for switching operations on equipment.

  • GEM LISTING RULES IMPLICATIONS As certain of the applicable percentage ratios (as defined under the GEM Listing Rules) in respect of the unsecured loan granted under the Supplemental Agreement to the Borrower were more than 5% but less than 25%, the unsecured loan granted under the Supplemental Agreement constitutes a discloseable transaction of the Company under Chapter 19 of the GEM Listing Rules and is therefore subject to reporting and announcement requirements under the GEM Listing Rules.

  • Model Rules of Procedure 1. The procedure before the Panel shall be conducted in accordance with the Model Rules of Procedure set out in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure). Exceptionally, the disputing Parties may agree on different rules to be applied by the Panel. 2. The Model Rules of Procedure are necessary for the good development of all the steps in this Chapter. In addition, these rules shall regulate the development of the procedure, pursuant to the following principles: (a) the procedures shall ensure the right to at least one hearing before the Panel, as well as the opportunity for each disputing Party to provide initial and rebuttal written submissions, and allow the use of any technological means to ensure its authenticity; and (b) the hearings before the Panel, the deliberations, as well as all the submissions and communications submitted during the hearings, shall be confidential. 3. If needed, the Panel shall, apart from the matters set out in this Article and in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure), regulate its own procedures in relation to the settlement of the dispute in consultation with the Parties. 4. Unless otherwise agreed by the disputing Parties within 20 days following the establishment of the Panel, the terms of reference shall be: "To examine, in light of the relevant provisions of this Agreement, the matter referred to in the request for the establishment of a Panel pursuant to Article 177 (Request for a Panel) and to make findings of law and fact together with the reasons therefore for the resolution of the dispute, as well as a recommendation for its implementation, if needed."
