Sabbatical Leave Scheme. 5.12.1 A sabbatical leave scheme for principals will apply according to the following; From 2018 there will be up to 40 full-time equivalent sabbaticals awarded annually (Note this may result in sabbatical leave being awarded to more than 40 secondary principals during one school year).
