Safety and Construction Code Updates. City’s Future Laws that are updates or amendments to subdivision standards, building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, dangerous buildings, drainage, Heber City Engineering Standards and Specifications or similar construction or safety related codes, such as the International Building Code, the APWA Specifications, AAHSTO Standards, the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices or similar standards that are generated by a nationally or statewide recognized construction/safety organization, or by the State or Federal governments and are required to meet compelling concerns related to public health, safety or welfare. Notwithstanding the forgoing, the City shall not be entitled to change the street standards set forth in Section 9.8 of this Agreement. In the event that a City safety, or construction code or requirement does not exist for a proposed improvement, the City shall have 45 days to approve an applicable City wide requirement.
