Safety and Supervision. As required by the Constitution, Defendants will take reasonable steps to protect prisoners from harm, including violence by other prisoners. While some danger is inherent in .a jail setting, Defendants will implement appropriate measures to minimize these risks, including development and implementation of facility-specific security and control-related policies, procedures, and practices that will provide a reasonably safe and secure environment for all prisoners and staff.
