Common use of Safety Supervisor Clause in Contracts

Safety Supervisor. a) On every job site, where the Company is the principal contractor it shall appoint a member of its staff to act as the Safety Supervisor. The Safety Supervisor shall be given the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. b) The person appointed shall be experienced in the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Company to a Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising his/her duties as a Safety Supervisor.
