Common use of SALARIES AND WORK SCHEDULE Clause in Contracts

SALARIES AND WORK SCHEDULE. A. The salary guide for Educational Interpreters is attached hereto and made part of this agreement. B. The work day for Educational Interpreters shall conform with current practice. At the beginning of each school year, the interpreter shall meet with their principal/supervisor to review the student’s IEP and develop a schedule which will best meet the educational needs of the student to whom the interpreter has been assigned. C. All interpreters will receive a duty free lunch as per the current practice at their assigned school. D. Every effort shall be made to schedule unit employees to continuous hours of work. A split schedule can be given if the unit employee so agrees and accepts same. E. The right to increase or decrease the work schedule shall remain a unilateral prerogative of the Board and is not subject to the Grievance Procedure.
