Salary on Reemployment. A. A person who is reemployed in the Firefighter Unit may, upon approval of the Human Resources Director, be appointed at a step higher than the recruiting step, but no higher than the step the person received at the time of separation unless appointment is at an advanced step or rate pursuant to Section 2.B of this Article.
