Reemployment List. A list of persons who have occupied positions allocated to any class in the merit system and who have voluntarily separated and are qualified for consideration for reappointment under the Personnel Management Regulations governing reemployment.

Reemployment List a. When all paid or unpaid leaves of absence have been exhausted following an industrial accident or industrial illness, an employee shall be placed on the reemployment list for the class from which he/she was on leave for a period not to exceed thirty-nine (39) months. b. An employee who fails to accept an appropriate assignment after being medically approved by the District’s Employee Health Services shall be removed from the reemployment list. Appropriate assignment is an assignment to the employee’s former class at the time of layoff, in his/her former status and time basis, and in assignment areas in which the employee has made him/her available.
Reemployment List. The names of permanent employees who are eligible for reemployment shall be arranged on appropriate reemployment lists in order of seniority as provided for in Article 15, Section 2, and shall remain thereon for a period of three (3) years. Employees shall be entitled to specify for placement on the reemployment list for any or all classes in which they formerly had permanent status or which are deemed comparable. In the event that an employee is appointed to a position from a reemployment list but such position is in a lower salary group than the class or classes for which his/her name is entered upon a reemployment list, he/she shall remain eligible for certification from the latter list. An employee appointed from a reemployment list to a position in his/her former salary group will be appointed at the same salary adjusted for any wage increases in such group as he/she held when he/she last worked in State service. An employee so appointed to a position in a lower salary group will be appointed at the same step or salary adjusted for any wage increases in the lower salary group as he/she held when he/she last worked in State service. There shall be no appointment from outside the bargaining unit or State service until laid off employees eligible for rehire and qualified for the position involved are offered reemployment.

An AAG appointed to a position from the reemployment list to a lower class shall be paid for the service in such lower classification at the closest rate in the lower salary range to the AAG’s former salary in the higher classification from which he or she was laid off, but not more than the rate the AAG was receiving at that time of layoff. (d) There shall be no appointment from outside State service until laid-off AAGs eligible for rehire and qualified for the position involved are offered reemployment.
Reemployment List. When a unit member has exhausted all the available sick leave described in Sections 16.1.1.1, 16.1.1.2, 16.1.1.3, 16.3.3, and 16.4 and continues to be absent on account of illness or accident and, is not medically able to resume the duties of the unit member’s position, the unit member shall be placed on a reemployment list. Probationary unit members shall be placed on the list for a period of 24 months and permanent unit members shall be placed on the list for a period of 39 months. When the unit member is medically able to return during the 24 or 39 months, the District shall assign the unit member to a position for which the unit member is credentialed and qualified. If at the end of the 24 or 39- month period, the unit member is not able to resume the duties of the unit member’s position, the unit member shall be dismissed.
Reemployment List. A list of the names of laid-off employees, arranged in rank from the greatest to least hire date seniority in the classification from which laid off, plus higher classifications.
Reemployment List. Employees who have passed their working test period whose services are terminated under this Article shall be placed on a reemployment list for three (3) years after termination. An employing Agency may bypass the reemployment rights of a non-tenured employee if the Agency determines that the employee cannot perform the functions of the job. Upon request, the Agency will provide the Union with the reasons for bypass, but such decision is neither grievable nor arbitrable.
