Common use of Saturday Duty Clause in Contracts

Saturday Duty. (i) All work performed on a Saturday shall be paid at time and a half for the first 2 hours and at double time after that. An employee undertaking Saturday duty shall be paid for a minimum attendance of three hours. (ii) Where employees covered by this Agreement are on, or take unauthorised leave on any Friday they shall not have access to Saturday overtime. (iii) An employee performing Saturday work shall be entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes after each four hours continuous work. Payment for such crib breaks is incorporated in the Productivity Allowance provided in clause 17C.

(iii) An employee performing Saturday work shall be entitled to a meal break of 30 20 minutes after each four hours continuous work. Payment is made for such crib breaks is incorporated in at the Productivity Allowance provided in clause 17C.rate applicable for the shift.
