Common use of Saturday/Sunday Work Clause in Contracts

Saturday/Sunday Work. When Saturday and/or Sunday is required, the EMPLOYER shall notify the COUNCIL before 4:00 P.M. on the Friday preceding, with the understanding that the EMPLOYER be permitted to notify after that hour if an emergency came up after 4:00 p.m. If the EMPLOYER’S client fails to notify him to proceed with work on Saturday and/or Sunday in time for the EMPLOYER to so notify the COUNCIL, then the EMPLOYER shall fax the notice to the office of the COUNCIL, or work will not proceed.
