Common use of Scheduled Shuttle Bus Service Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Shuttle Bus Service. The Contractor shall operate a scheduled shuttle bus service on the Airport, using fixed routes, at a headway frequency or at fixed times as determined by the Authority. The Contractor shall monitor and assess the shuttle bus usage and recommend to the Authority when the number of buses for required route operations should be increased or decreased. The Contractor shall actively monitor and manage shuttle bus routes and effectively communicate internally to ensure that customer demand is met and wait times are minimized. In the event that a bus is full or otherwise unable to pick up passengers remaining on its route, the Contractor shall immediately dispatch an additional shuttle bus to pick up the remaining customers and complete the route with minimal delay. The Contractor shall not formally change the routes, service, or schedules without prior written approval of the Authority. The Contractor shall ensure that any and all approved changes are maintained in the Manual. Additional details regarding the airport shuttle bus routes are described in Exhibit A-6. During the Authority’s Project Journey construction, routes may be amended to accommodate construction activity. Contractor shall be notified in writing by the Authority regarding changes, whether temporary or permanent, to any routes or pickup/drop off points during construction.
