Using Student feedback in Educator Evaluation ESE will provide model contract language, direction and guidance on using student feedback in Educator Evaluation by June 30, 2013. Upon receiving this model contract language, direction and guidance, the parties agree to bargain with respect to this matter.
Per Diem Nurses 476. If per diem nurses are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours, they shall have access to Municipal Railway passes as necessary.
School Year Sarasota Suncoast agrees that opening and closing dates of the school year and school holidays will coincide with other Sarasota County schools.
Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).
School Day A. The length of the school day shall be seven (7) hours and five (5) minutes inclusive of the arrival and departure time.
Per Diem Nurse A nurse employed to work on an intermittent basis to supplement the regular work force on a scheduled or unscheduled basis. Per diem nurses will be placed on the schedule when initially posted only to cover for unfilled, posted positions or for absent nurses. They must submit their availability dates by email to their home unit fourteen (14) days in advance of the posting of the schedule. A nurse must remain available, until the schedule has been posted, on the dates of availability the nurse has submitted in accordance with the requirements below.
Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.
