Work on regular shifts" means only shift work that lasts for a total of at least six working days and where the shifts are within the period of time and do not exceed the length stipulated by the Working Environment Act. Other shift work shall be paid as overtime. This last sentence shall not prevent individual companies from making other agreements with comparable compensation on the part of the company.

  • Contractor shall commence the Work on the Effective Date and shall perform all Work by the deadline established by the City Representative or, if no deadline is established, with reasonable diligence.

  • Work on this contract must be started within one (1) month from the date the purchase order is issued.

  • The Design/Builder shall obtain, and shall furnish and deliver to the Owner, the Statutory and Performance Bonds prior to, and as a condition precedent to, commencement of the Work on the Site.

Related to Work on

  • Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Work Day means any day that an Employee is regularly scheduled to work and for which the Employee receives payment from the Employer.

  • Work Order means an individually negotiated document that is executed by both Parties and which authorizes a Project, if any, in an indefinite quantity Contract.
