School Disciplinary Procedure. 1. Teachers will be provided with a copy of the district Code of Student Conduct and Discipline at the beginning of each year. Student disciplinary procedures at the school level shall be consistent with the District Code of Student Conduct and Discipline, and shall include procedures for staff seeking assistance in handling disruptive students. Teacher input shall be sought when these procedures are to be changed. Teachers will be provided with a written copy of these procedures at the beginning of each school year, and will be notified whenever these procedures are changed. These procedures shall not include any arbitrary limit on the number of disciplinary referrals a teacher may write. When a teacher writes a referral, the teacher may retain one copy for their records, while sending the remaining parts to the office. If codes are utilized for disciplinary referrals, such codes shall be provided to the teachers during pre-planning. 2.
