Common use of Scope of Authority Clause in Contracts

Scope of Authority. 15.1 The Service Provider shall not be the Client's agent and shall not make any agreements on the Client's behalf or bind the Client to any obligation or in any way act as an agent of the Client. 15.2 The Service Provider shall not, without the prior written approval of the Client represent itself as being in any way connected with or interested in the business of the Client.
