Scope of Duties, Services. Consultant will provide the following communications, media relations, and public relations services to the Client: Strategy and Tactics We will support legal strategy, media relations, and government relations for the Client. Services (to be discussed and mutually agreed upon as the relationship develops as will Services relative to which matters services are provided for, such as which legal action(s)) Media Opportunities relevant to crisis communications ● Reporter meetings or calls for relationship building, backgrounders. Online, in person or by phone news media interviews. ● Interviews to generate relationship building with expert, third party commentators, associations, government entities or others to support the Client’s goals. ● Publishing and Speaking opportunities to be determined upon mutual agreement of the parties. ● Possible charitable event support (to be determined) that will show the client as a good corporate citizen in front of influential audiences. ● Media list creation for contacting relevant media to the Client’s goals. ● Mainstream, trade, higher education, legal, social media monitoring relevant to the Client’s goals. Subscription media monitoring performed at mutual agreement by both parties. ● Media monitoring and pitching stories in China, possibly using local public relations contact in Beijing, paid for and at the Client’s discretion. ● Communications consulting for internal Client audiences including donors, alumni, students and staff. Added Activities ● Media Training (approximately 4 hours via Zoom or in person when possible. This training employing on-camera role-playing and critique which, has been performed for a long list of clients including professors, school administrators, physicians, members of Congress, C-level officers, heads of political parties, journalists, lawyers and many others, is charged at $4,000.00 for half day of up to 4 hours and discounted for 8 hours. A flyer can be sent if Client is interested in detail. Or the Client may not require media training but performance and messaging advice will be provided as the engagement continues). ● News releases to support the Client’s goals (cost of distribution charged extra without xxxx-up). ● Surveys (expenses paid in addition to retained services) ● Congressional or governmental consulting. ● Social media counseling and possible placements of stories or comments. ● Counseling for Client’s web site), or other web-based communications platforms.
