Relationship Building. High level performance requires that the employee:
a. Is courteous and respectful to students
b. Communicates bus rules and expectations to students
c. Consistently enforces student expectations d. Follows established discipline procedures
Relationship Building. 2a Activities that strengthen and develop relationships between Indigenous governing bodies and local authorities, and support collaboration in emergency management. 2b Collaboratively developed or delivered training and preparedness initiatives, to support shared understanding of respective emergency management practices.
Relationship Building. The issues and approaches to relationship building are outlined in the previous section. The importance of this phase cannot be over-stressed. Begin the process by identifying mutual values and creating mutual goals among all parties to the agreement Consider a relationship-building agreement prior to one focused on jurisdictional or technical issues (see the link to a protocol agreement in the next section) Develop cross-cultural awareness and competence as well as trust and respect at the outset of the process (see the Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Sioux case study for an example) If desired, develop protocols regarding how to start, conduct and end meetings (e.g. smudging, blessings, use of talking stick/feather, etc.)

Initiate contacts readily. • Planning C Organizing – Prioritize multiple tasks and maximize use of available time to ensure work is accomplished efficiently and accurately. • Written Communication – Compose informative and convincing documents. Use written language to convey substance and intent with accuracy. • Energy – Exhibit stamina and endurance and maintain a fast pace over time.
Relationship Building. The PSC will continue training in relationship building and conflict resolution, as the Parties consider necessary.
Relationship Building. (1) Alberta, in accordance with the Protocol Agreement on Government to Government Relations (May 2008), agrees to engage provincial departments and facilitate relationships between the Assembly of Treaty Chiefs in Alberta and provincial departments to identify and support opportunities to address issues that may affect or have an impact on the educational outcomes of First Nation students.
(2) Canada agrees to engage other federal departments and facilitate their involvement in partnerships with provincial and First Nation parties, where their participation will contribute to improving First Nation student outcomes in Alberta.
(3) The Parties agree to engage in strategic discussions, in the development or implementation of all initiatives, programs or other matters that affect the educational outcomes of First Nation students.
(4) The Parties agree to actively encourage the development of collaborative frameworks between provincial school authorities and local First Nation communities.
Relationship Building. There was agreement on the importance of relationship-building, the broad perception being of the need to combat a cultural divide. The general view was that the best „bridge‟ was inter-personal contact and cultural orientation, and efforts were made on both „sides‟ to xxxxxx positive experiences for „visitors‟. As an illustration, a senior academic onshore commented: “They‟ve got no idea what this place is like. It‟s pretty scary for the Chinese. So we really try to look after them, get to know them, expose them to the local culture, take them out for a few beers and meat pies (laughing)”.
Relationship Building. Strengthen our relationship with merchants, property owners, developers, neighborhood groups, historic preservationists, City, County, Rio Nuevo, U of A, stakeholders and partners.
Relationship Building. Whereas the Parties recognize the value of ongoing dialogue and relationship building as discussed within the PDT agreement as a means to sustain labour peace and progress; The Parties hereby agree that following ratification the Parties agree to meet at the first available Labour/Management meeting to explore and develop a process of Relationship Building. In developing a process the Parties may utilize the services offered by the Ministry of Labour or other resources as the Parties may deem appropriate.
Relationship Building. It is important that Eden and partnership agencies develop a good working relationship, understanding each others aims and how they can mutually benefit each other. Agency workers should be briefed before each GDO, there is a ‘staff survival’ guide which can be referred to along with this SLA. Agency workers should take part in the activities, help engage service users, be motivated, enthusiastic and support Eden staff to deliver the greatest day possible.
