SCOPE OF ORDINANCE. This Ordinance shall apply to the construction, installation, modification, or use of residential, commercial, and public structures, and any associated electrical equipment, plumbing, appliances designed or used to burn solid fuel (wood, coal, or any combustible solid matter) for the purpose of heating or cooking, and subsurface wastewater disposal structures or equipment as covered in the codes and standards referred to in Sections 104 – 111 of this Ordinance.
SCOPE OF ORDINANCE. This Chapter shall provide the basic local scheme for providers of telecommunications services and systems that require the use of the rights-of-way, including providers of both the system and service, those providers of the system only, and those providers who do not build the system but who only provide services. This Chapter shall apply to all future providers and to all providers in the City prior to the effective date of this Chapter, whether operating with or without a franchise as set forth in subsection 7-6-12B of this Chapter.
SCOPE OF ORDINANCE. All private xxxxx located on any premises which are served by the public water system of the Village of Plain shall be properly filled by December 31, 1985. Only those xxxxx for which a well use permit has been granted by the Village Clerk may be exempted from the requirement, subject to conditions of maintenance and operation.

  • General Regulations A. Excessively loud speakers and sound displays are not permitted, and BAC Productions shall have the right to reject any exhibit which does not, in its sole, and reasonable opinion, conform to the general tenor of the show.

  • Fire Regulations All Exhibitors must comply with the regulations of the local authority and applicable law as they relate to the design and construction of Exhibition stands, and the use of suitably fireproofed materials.

  • Ordinances Construction shall conform to all Federal, State, County, and local codes, ordinances, regulations, and standards having jurisdiction thereof. In the case of conflict between any such applicable documents mentioned above and the specifications and drawings, the highest requirement shall govern. No additional charges shall be allowed for any changes to make work conform to regulations of above-mentioned documents or governing agencies, but shall be considered as completely included in the Task Order price.

  • Technical Regulations 1. The rights and obligations of the Parties in respect of technical regulations, standards and conformity assessment shall be governed by the WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade.

  • Limitation on Out-of-State Litigation - Texas Business and Commerce Code § 272 This is a requirement of the TIPS Contract and is non-negotiable. Texas Business and Commerce Code § 272 prohibits a construction contract, or an agreement collateral to or affecting the construction contract, from containing a provision making the contract or agreement, or any conflict arising under the contract or agreement, subject to another state’s law, litigation in the courts of another state, or arbitration in another state. If included in Texas construction contracts, such provisions are voidable by a party obligated by the contract or agreement to perform the work. By submission of this proposal, Vendor acknowledges this law and if Vendor enters into a construction contract with a Texas TIPS Member under this procurement, Vendor certifies compliance.

  • ENERGY POLICY AND CONSERVATION ACT COMPLIANCE To the extent applicable, Supplier must comply with the mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.

  • Summary of Policy and Prohibitions on Procurement Lobbying Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this Contract includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between OGS and a Vendor during the procurement process. A Vendor is restricted from making contacts from the earliest notice of intent to solicit offers/bids through final award and approval of the Procurement Contract by OGS and, if applicable, the Office of the State Comptroller (“restricted period”) to other than designated staff unless it is a contact that is included among certain statutory exceptions set forth in State Finance Law §139-j(3)(a). Designated staff, as of the date hereof, is identified in Appendix G, Contractor and OGS Information, or as otherwise indicated by OGS. OGS employees are also required to obtain certain information when contacted during the restricted period and make a determination of the responsibility of the Vendor pursuant to these two statutes. Certain findings of non-responsibility can result in rejection for contract award and in the event of two findings within a four-year period; the Vendor is debarred from obtaining governmental Procurement Contracts.
