Common use of Seasonal Auxiliary Employees Clause in Contracts

Seasonal Auxiliary Employees. (a) The auxiliary employee shall have completed their auxiliary probationary period pursuant to Article 1.08 (ii) (e) in a satisfactory manner, and (b) eligibility for re-employment shall be confined to the department, program area and job category from which the employee is laid off on the basis of total hours worked, and (c) the normal job posting requirements (Article 9.01 (iii)) related to re- employment shall be waived where the work assignment is expected to be more than three (3) months, and (d) re-employment in the former department, program area and job category shall not be applicable where the auxiliary employee accepts employment in another department of the Employer.
