Common use of Seattle Center Employee Parking Clause in Contracts

Seattle Center Employee Parking. The Seattle Center shall continue its practice of providing parking without charge on a space available basis to Seattle Center employees covered by this Agreement who were in regular (as opposed to temporary or intermittent) full-time or part-time status prior to November 4, 1987. Seattle Center employees who attain regular employment status on or after November 4, 1987, and who desire parking privileges shall pay twenty dollars ($20.00) a month for parking during working hours only, or twenty-five dollars ($25.00) a month for parking during working hours and all other hours. 14.13.1 The City reserves the right to open Article 14.13 for the purpose of negotiating changes to employee parking and fees to address incentives for High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) parking and disincentives for Single Occupancy Vehicle (SOV) parking and other matters as may be necessary for an effective commute trip reduction program, as required by the City of Seattle Ordinance and State Law RCW 70.94.521-551.
