Common use of Second Meal Period Clause in Contracts

Second Meal Period. (excluding ENG camera, Master Control) On an eight-hour shift, a second paid meal period of 30 minutes will be given after the employee has worked (excluding unpaid first meal period) more than 10 hours. On a ten-hour shift (four-day workweek), a second paid meal period of 30 minutes will be given after the employee has worked (excluding unpaid first meal period) more than 12 hours. If the meal period is not taken, 30 minutes will be added to the end of the shift at the prevailing hourly rate. $15 meal allowance will be provided only if the meal was actually taken.
