  • WORK STOPPAGE AND SLOWDOWN Employees within the bargaining unit, MSEA-SEIU and its officers at all levels, agree that they will not instigate, promote, sponsor, condone or engage in any work stoppage, sympathy work stoppage or slowdown.

  • Relation of the Standard Contractual Clauses to the Agreement Nothing in the Agreement shall be construed to prevail over any conflicting clause of the Standard Contractual Clauses.   • STRIKES, LOCKOUTS AND PICKET LINES The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the Union or its bargaining unit members will not authorize, instigate, aid or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, sickout, refusal to work, picketing or strike against the Employer and/or the Agency, its goods, property or on its property. The Agency agrees that during the life of this Agreement there will be no lockout. Upon notification confirmed in writing by the Employer to the Union that certain bargaining unit members covered by this Agreement are engaging in strike activity in violation of this Article, the Union shall advise such striking employees in writing, with a copy to the Department of Administrative Services, to return to work immediately. Such notification by the Union shall not constitute an admission that it has caused or counseled such strike activity.

  • Crossing of Picket Lines During Strike An Employee covered by this Agreement shall have the right to refuse to cross a picket line or to handle struck work arising out of Labour disputes. Failure to cross such a picket line or handle struck goods by a member of this Union shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement, nor shall it be grounds for disciplinary action. An Employee who is absent by reason of refusal to cross a picket line shall be paid at the discretion of the Employer.

  • NO STRIKE/NO LOCKOUT CLAUSE 23.1 Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Union shall not strike and the Employer shall not lockout employees during the term of this Agreement.
