Second Weapon. Sergeants may carry a second weapon on duty with prior approval by the Employer. The sergeant must qualify with the weapon in compliance with departmental procedures. The types and calibers of acceptable weapons will be decided by the Employer. The sergeant shall be responsible for providing and maintaining his/her second weapon.
