SECONDMENT BY EMERGENCY SERVICES. When an employee, by reason of membership of an emergency service agency, is required to be absent from work in order to assist or undertake such emergency work, that employee shall be allowed leave with pay equivalent to the ordinary time earnings of such absence. This shall not construe any responsibility on ICC for the conduct of such assistance or work undertaken by the employee during the secondment, or for any expenses incurred.
