Common use of Section 8 – Charge Nurse Clause in Contracts

Section 8 – Charge Nurse. The Charge Nurse premium will be three dollars ($3.00) per 25 hour effective the first full pay period following July 1, 2016, for all hours assigned as 26 Charge Nurse. Decisions on the assignment of charge nurses shall be made by the 27 appropriate hospital manager. Not more than one nurse shall be assigned as a charge 28 nurse in any unit at the same time.
