Seeking to Prevent Expansions of Exemptions. The Servicer agrees to take such legal or administrative actions, including defending against or instituting and pursuing legal actions and appearing or testifying at hearings or similar proceedings, as may be reasonably necessary to attempt to prevent the granting by the State of California or the CPUC, after the Closing Date, of any material exemptions from the obligation to pay Fixed Recovery Charges that are not expressly provided for in the Wildfire Financing Law and that violate the State Pledge or any other obligations of the State of California or the CPUC under the Wildfire Financing Law or the Financing Order, including any failure of the CPUC to require any municipal entity which acquires any portion of the service territory of PG&E to impose, collect and remit the Fixed Recovery Charges. The Servicer shall have no obligations under this paragraph if it is not being reimbursed on a current basis for its costs and expenses in taking such actions, and shall not be required to advance its own funds to satisfy its obligations hereunder.
