Selection Criteria for Mentors. a. The applicant must have a minimum of five (5) consecutive years of teaching experience in the district. b. The applicant must be able to demonstrate above average teaching performance. c. The applicant must hold a valid teaching certificate/license and must currently be teaching in the same area of certification as the client teacher, "or have taught in said area in the last three years" (whenever possible).
