Selection of bus drivers for special trips shall be based on a seniority list periodically prepared by the Director of Transportation. Bids will be based both on the seniority and on the number of trip hours, beginning with the driver with the most seniority and continuing down to the one with minimum service. Only in an emergency shall bus mechanics, and the bus garage maintenance employees be required to drive a school bus to transport students.
