Senate/Board Documents and/or Policies. designates those documents and/or policies formally approved by the Senate and/or the Board of Governors of Nipissing University. Special Course designates a course that is offered as a service to a degree program but does not count towards a minor, major, or specialization in any discipline. All special courses are listed in Appendix G. Spring/Summer designates the period thus named and specified annually by Senate, normally the Spring and Summer terms, May 1 to August 30. Spouse designates a Member’s partner in law or in common law (with whom the Member has continuously been in the relationship, for at least one (1) year). A Member can designate only one spouse at a time.
