Session Policy Decision Server (MSF). The Session Policy Decision Server (SPDS) is the equivalent of the Session Policy Decision Function (SPDF) element as defined in TISPAN Release 1. It is a logical policy decision element of the TISPAN Resource Admission Control Subsystem (RACS). • When located in the core network, based on network operator-defined rules the SPDS decides o if a QoS session resource request must be sent to a A-RACS or D-SBG- NE/C-BGw ) o or both.
