Common use of Settlement Categories Clause in Contracts

Settlement Categories. The Claims Administrator shall assign the appropriate Settlement Category based upon the provided Claims Materials. The Claims Administrator may seek advice from the Special Master if any questions arise as to the applicable Settlement Category for any Claimant. If the Claims Administrator believes that a Settlement Category different from that selected by Claimant is applicable, after consulting with and receiving confirmation from the Special Master, the Claims Administrator shall assign that Settlement Category to the Claimant, subject to any Claimant’s right to make a Reconsideration Request or take an appeal as set forth in Article XIII–Reconsideration Requests and Appeals.
