Severance Due to Layoffs. When the Company wishes to terminate the services of a Permanent Employee due to layoff, such employee shall be given one month notice, or pay in lieu of notice, except when the employee is discharged for just cause. The Company commits to providing severance pay that would be no less than what ‘common law’ would provide. This is not applicable when an employee is discharged for Just Cause.
