Shelving. All stock shelving over eight (8) feet in height requires structural calculations prepared by an engineer licensed in the state of California. Shelving and its contents shall not interfere with sprinkler head water flow.

Basic case construction and materials • The base of the case is to be structurally sound and able to support the combined weight of the baseboard, backboard, any lighting elements or silica gel, glass and all Objects and mounts. • The base and/or sides of the unit can be constructed in birch-faced plywood or zero-formaldehyde (ZF) MDF, Fire Rated Class 1. • ZF MDF or softwood can be used for the internal support structure. • Emissions from ZF MDF and wood products should be controlled with the application of approved products such as Sellabond RJ119 or Moistop before painting. Care should be taken to ensure that the coating is applied offsite, with sufficient time allowed for curing and off-gassing, a minimum of 2 weeks. Security, Locks and materials . .
Shelving. Provide shelving in the janitor closet for storage of cleaning and paper supplies. Wood shelving shall be 25/32” No. 2 common kiln dried ponderosa pine as per grading rules of the Western Pine Association. Shelving shall be supported on cleats of the same material. Provide a 12” x 36” plastic laminated shelf in each employee’s toilet room near the exit no higher than 40” above the finished floor.
Shelving. The storage rooms shall have ability to have shelving. Shelving can be finished with a paint or stain consistent with the leased space décor and approved by TJJD. A minimum of one light fixture, shall be provided in each storage room and janitor’s closet.

Added in Draft#: 2 18.90 Diamond Plate Cleaning & Polishing All non-welded exterior aluminum diamond plate shall be removed from the apparatus. The diamond plate shall be chemically cleaned, de-oxidized and machine polished. Upon reinstallation of diamond plate, a new xxxx seam seal bead shall be applied to prevent water intrusions behind the diamond plate. Cracked aluminum diamond plate shall be repaired as necessary.
