Common use of SHIFT WORK AVAILABILITY Clause in Contracts

SHIFT WORK AVAILABILITY. A shift worker shall be required to make themselves available to work shifts as determined by the Company from time to time. An employee, employed to work rostered shift work, shall be given a copy of the rostered hours they are required to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of each roster. At least twenty four (24) hours’ notice shall be given to an individual employee who is requested to change rostered shifts. At least fourteen (14) days’ notice shall be given to employees if it is intended to alter agreed rosters. Whilst an employee works on rotating shifts or permanent night shift, he/she shall be considered to be a Shift Worker for the purposes of this Agreement.
