Common use of Shop Drawing and Submittal Review Clause in Contracts

Shop Drawing and Submittal Review. Contractor shall review construction shop drawings and working drawings submitted either electronically or in paper form by the CC for conformance with the information given in the Contract Documents and compatibility with the design concept of the completed Project as a functioning whole as indicated by the Contract Documents. Contractor shall review the following submittals, as required: ▪ Traffic Control Plans ▪ Erosion Control Plans ▪ Drainage Structures (manholes and inlets) Shop Drawings ▪ Lighting Pole Submittals ▪ Landscaping and Irrigation Submittals ▪ Others as required by construction contract specifications Assumptions: ▪ The City will be responsible for delivering the shop drawings or working drawings to the Contractor. ▪ Up to fifteen (15) submittals shall be reviewed, limited to the budget and hours associated with this task for the Project ▪ Up to two (2) reviews for each submittal, limited to the budget and hours associated with this task.
