Common use of Showers Clause in Contracts

Showers. (a) Showers are not essential if there is a suitable bath but where provided the landlord shall ensure that their normal use will not damage the Home, through water ingress or otherwise. (b) Separate shower cubicles shall be tiled to a height of 1.8 metres. (c) All shower bases shall be adequately sealed and a curtain/door provided. (d) Generally the standard to be reached in a shower room is one where normal usage will not lead to any water ingress into the structure of the accommodation over the period of the lease.
